Public meeting on Omaha CSO project coming Tuesday
August 14, 2009
The city of Omaha is under orders from Federal authorities to conduct a major campaign to get rid of
combined sewer overflows, largely by rolling out a massive new storm sewer system in much of the city. The city will have a
public meeting on Tuesday to discuss the plan, which is
likely to cost around $1.5 billion.
Separation of storm and sanitary sewers often involves lots of
gates and new
pumping stations. Please feel free to
contact us with your questions.
